-Angie is one of my oldest characters, and the intro of my thick outline drawings.
-Casey was a comission. My friend Aaron's younger sister. One righteous babe.
-Melborne is one of my favorite characters. She plays the best friend of Angie.
-A little doodle I did of class of our HALO lan party. Row 2:
-My conception of the logo for Coffee and Donuts.
-(I know it's not monochrome) The final logo for Coffee and Donuts, thanks to my colorist Chrys.
-Cecile from our Flower Detectives story. A ditzy character, has the heart of gold and triumphs in the end.
-One of my submission pieces for Electronic Whore's mascot contest.
-Baby Crane and Cao Dao (nicknamed Lil' Budda). It was my entry in Rumble on the Web, although not yet able to battle.
-The lead females of Tenchi Muyo! Sailor scouts style. Tenchi Muyo is property of Pioneer.
-This was the logo before Big City Comics got our diffrent logos. I can't ink this one because it's on linen-finished cardstock, and the ink bleeds SO badly. It's of Cati, a very re-occuring character.
-This is another of the main character, and when this drawing was done the book's name was finalized to "Coffee and Donuts". Drawing descriptions from left to right.
Guest Colorists
Row 1:
-The big kahuna at AV Comics, Eric did a major clean up with this piece. I have to give him full props for actually being able to color it (it was really really messy). This was one of the earliest sketches for "Coffee and Donuts."
-Chrys, my colorist for "Coffee and Donuts" did this piece. It was to help settle the color scheme for the main character. After wiping large amounts of drool off, I'm happy to say that this is a keeper.
-This is the ad that Chrys did for the Ohio Con. Small point to make: Angie isn't a character in Coffee and Donuts, but man I think it's a cool piece.
-Katie did this little color job of her character and Casey that appear in Urban Pretzel.
-Another Katie colorization of the character Kisa. My feeble attempts at coloring:
Row 1:
-George Makarov was a classmate of mine. After a small discussion of how Russian women are stereotyped in movies, we agreed that this Russian police woman can't be named Natasha. George came up with Olga and it's been perfect.
-Me playing around with more coloring of Cati. I can color inside the lines... most of the time.
-A old classmate of mine, Andrea. Allowed me to create this piece of her.
